Pyjama shark - Poroderma Africanum

I was watching "My Octopus Teacher" on Netflix, a documentary on a beautiful friendship between an octopus and a human and on top of giving me all the feels (had to hold the tears in at a certain point), I learnt about the existence of a species of sharks I did not know existed!

So I present to you Poroderma Africanum which is commonly known as the pyjama shark because of its cute stripes. It is also sometimes called the striped catshark which is equally adorable. This species is endemic to the shores of South Africa. According to the Shark Research Institute, there have been records in other areas of the world but these claims are yet to be verified.
